Save Trauma !

Join the Campaign to #SaveTrauma!

Trauma NBC is an exciting new show that gives us a glimpse into the lives and jobs of San Francisco’s First Responders. The high-action series is populated by an ensemble cast that includes Derek Luke, Cliff Curtis, Anastasia Griffith, Kevin Rankin, Aimee Garcia, Jamey Sheridan, and Taylor Kinney. Despite a high premiering pilot, ratings have not been high. For the show to stay on the air, Viewership needs to go way up. NBC has ordered 7 more episodes for a total of 10 remaining episodes Which will air starting March 8, 2010   (Mondays @ 9pm on NBC). So we need your help to promote the show.

Here are some of the campaign ideas we have to promote Trauma and increase viewership AND show NBC there is a fan following and we love the show!

The Most Important thing to do is SHARE:
Watch and share the episodes on NBC.com with your friends and family! Only the last 5 episodes are available @ :http://www.nbc.com/trauma/video/episodes/?apl=true

They are also on Hulu @ http://www.hulu.com/trauma

http://www.sidereel.com/Trauma also has links for various medium to view episodes of the show, and an easy interface for sharing with Facebook friends.

2. Get the show into the hands of new viewers: Buy, Download and Burn a copy of your favourite episode to CD/DVD, and pass them out to people you meet. Make a gift for someone you know has a Zune,Ipod or iPhone.

Everytime you share with a new person you spread the word about our show and potentially increase the viewership. Sales also show the network we’re serious about the show.

2. Call NBC/Universal @ 1-818-840-4444 and let them know you want to see Trauma in the spring!!!!

3. Write letters to tv columns (USA Weekend/Parade/TV Guide/your local paper) and begin asking questions about the show that we probably already know the answer to? “I watch Trauma, and I was wondering if you could tell me about the actor who plays Rabbit.” If they get printed (which is …quite possible) it may stir up interest with new viewers and help promote our cause.

4. Write the other Networks about being interested in the series being picked up by them. A few thousand letters/emails/phone calls might persuade the competition to check it out. It might also force NBC to seriously reconsider before they make a mistake. Links to Network Addresses can be found here:http://traumatics.tumblr.com/post/270808121/network-addresses-to-mail-promoting-trauma-pickup, and also some links (also includes Mailing Addresses) to Daytime Talk Shows: http://traumatics.tumblr.com/post/283830198/daytime-mailing-addresses that we could write to tell them about our cause.

5. Write to advertisers that air during the episodes expressing your support of their product and the show (and the tie between the two)

6. Comment on the Press Release of the NBC mid season lineup (from which Trauma is missing) and let NBC know how you feel about Trauma’s absence here:http://bit.ly/6Ue8lU

Remember to be polite, Tell them you love the show, and ask them to consider giving Trauma a few more episodes. Do it Early & Often! :)

7. Tweet: Add #SaveTrauma, #WatchTrauma & #Trauma to your messages on Twitter. Add @TraumaNBC & @NBC to your twitter feed and let them know how you feel about Trauma being canceled.
